Job Description – Assistant Bar Manager

Department: Clubhouse

Reports to: Clubhouse Manager and Operations Manager

Job Summary: We are looking for a new team member to support our increasingly busy clubhouse. The role will include evening and weekend work but this will be done on a rota system. Due to increased functions bookings and a large increase in traffic during the summer months we are looking to add support to our current management team and be able to extend the opening hours. Accommodation can be provided if required in the form of a two bedroom cottage in the town of High Bentham.

Hours and Pay: 48 Hours during Summer and 32 during Winter

Essential Job Tasks:
• Create a welcoming environment within 1922 by presenting the room well, serving drinks in a courteous manner
• Conduct the cashing up of the till
• Work with the catering sub-contractor to ensure that the correct food is ordered and communicated in good time
