Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Sushi Chef at Sushi Japanese Restaurant located in Hikkaduwa. The Sushi Chef will be responsible for preparing sushi dishes, including sushi rolls, sashimi, and nigiri. The chef will ensure high-quality and fresh ingredients are used, maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards, and collaborate with the culinary team to create new and innovative sushi dishes.

Qualifications
• Prior experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar role
• Extensive knowledge and expertise in traditional Japanese sushi preparation techniques
• Ability to handle and prepare raw fish with precision and attention to detail
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations
• Excellent knife skills and ability to create visually appealing sushi presentations
