We are urgently a talented Mechanical Assembly Technicians to work for a global company based at their site in Peterborough.

Your role will be on a long term temporary basis – some contractors have been in situ for over 2 years and some taken on permanently.

You will be working for a Global company that specialises in water treatment and the Mechanical Assembly Technician will be responsible for the on-going maintenance of this large ion exchange water treatment plant and the mobile units.

Essential Responsibilities

Refurbishment and fabrication of company parts and specific equipment
• Fulfilment of facility maintenance tasks
• Instruments Calibration/ Validation
• Maintain the integrity of work rules and processes
• Use and create Safety Risk Assessments and comply with these requirements
• Follow general EHS standards and suggest possible improvements
• Work Overtime during evenings/mornings and weekends if required to do so
