POSTION SUMMARY

Reporting to the FCSS Manager, this position is responsible for the development, promotion, and delivery of effective preventative social programs and services that will enhance the quality of life for residents with a senior and abuse prevention focus. This role involves offering personalized support to residents, helping them gain independence, enhance coping abilities, and become more resilient to crisis situations through individualized assistance and resource provision. This position assesses the social needs of the community through partnerships, facilitation, and consultation with all stakeholders. This position works closely with municipal staff, agencies, community organizations, and the public.
