POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the FCSS Manager, this position is responsible for providing a range of homemaking tasks and practical services that support clients to live in their own home with as much independence as possible. This position provides respite care relief including recreation and social opportunities with the client. This position works closely with municipal staff, agencies, community organizations, and the public including client family members.

WORK RESPONSIBILITIES

Program Administration
• Maintain records including timesheets, billing, and home support and respite care plans
• Notify the client of any changes to the schedule with at least 24 hours’ notice
• Inform the FCSS Manager if a replacement worker is required
• Ensure confidentiality is always observed regarding information relating to clients
• Attend any training opportunities or meetings arranged by Hinton FCSS to enhance skills
• Undertake additional administrative duties as required
