Design & Project Engineer

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 + Bonus (depending on experience)

Based in Tilbury, Essex, our client specialises in the Design, Manufacture, Installation, Sales, Repair & Examination of Lifting, Securing & Height Safety Equipment as well as Structural Steelwork, Marine & General Engineering.

Previous experience in the structural steel manufacturing industry is a must and knowledge of ISO Quality Management Systems would be beneficial.

We are looking for an experienced CAD Technician that can work with our team to create preliminary concept designs and take them through to final manufacturing detail and construction drawings. The ideal candidate would be expected visit local sites to complete surveys with our engineers, as such some site experience would be needed.

Duties will include:
• CAD 2D & 3D detailing of construction, marine and industrial drawings (using AutoCAD 3D).
