MC Technical Recruitment are currently seeking a Mechanical Technician to join an engineering business near South Benfleet, Essex who provide mechanical maintenance support to the petrochemical and power generation sectors. The Mechanical Technician will be responsible for workshop repairs, on-site maintenance, removal and installation of industrial mechanical assets e.g. pumps, valves, gearboxes, compressors, valves and turbines in small teams. Full training will be provided for candidates with the right attitude.

As The Mechanical Technician, You Will Be Responsible For
• On site and workshop-based maintenance on work on a wide range of mechanical equipment including pumps, valves, gearboxes, compressors, valve sand turbines etc.
• On site and in house maintenance testing of valves, pipework etc
• When required assist and lead planned project and outages as directed by managers
