My husband Jethro and I are away for a few days and are looking for someone to look after out home and our two rescue cats Norrie (9yrs old) and Remus (3yr old). We would also appreciate someone to top up the bird feeder and water the plants at some point during the week. We live in Ely (20 min train from Cambridge) in a 2 bed house including a working from home set up. We have a small garden and are about 10 min walk from the station and 2 min from the town market square, with a variety of shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. You can reach the well know Ely Cathedral and the riverside in a 5-10 min walk. Big supermarkets are nearby (Sainsburys and Aldi about 2min away, Waitrose and Tesco about 10 min), as well as a lot of local independent shops. Ely is a lovely little city, and a great base for exploring the Fens, and visiting Cambridge/London. We will leave written instructions and tips for places to visit locally.
