Duties
• Design, develop, test, evaluate, implement, review and maintain major segments of financial management and reporting systems to meet all applicable federal government requirements.
• Applies considerable ingenuity to solve a wide variety of complex systems problems where no clear precedent exists.
• Performs a continuing review and analysis of records, reports, and user comments to identify system and regulatory problems affecting system development, deployment, and operations, to ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Provides technical advice in support of the design and programming of automated systems. Works with IT specialists in the application of accounting principles and policies to revise existing systems.
• Conducts or participates in special reviews and feasibility studies.
