The Project Company, CPV1, is seeking an experienced and technically competent Electrical Team Leader.

This is a role that requires a depth of experience in the installation, operating and fault finding of LV (dc and ac) and MV electro-mechanical/mechanical primary equipment and control gear. Comprehensive knowledge of LV and MV switchgear, transformers and cables is essential. Prior experience with high voltage (132 kV) equipment operation and maintenance will be useful.

You must have a thorough understanding of O&M practices for a renewable energy power plant from an electro-mechanical works perspective (Concentrated Photo Voltaic). Your primary responsibilities will involve the inspection, operation, maintenance, supervision, and safety of the infrastructure of the facility and field personnel.

The Team Lead will report directly to the O&M Site Manager.

This role is based at site, Touwsrivier, Western Cape.
