Job Overview:

We’re looking for a Logistics Assistant. The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics and be able to work independently.
• A logistics assistant is someone who helps the logistics coordinator or shipper with tasks related to shipping, such as identifying freight, loading and unloading containers, or preparing pallets.
• Logistics assistants do many basic tasks, such as recording incoming freight, marking freight for shipment, and unloading containers.
• Logistics assistants may also perform accounting tasks, such as maintaining accounting records, preparing statements, and paying bills.
• The duties of a logistics assistant may vary based on the type of company and the logistics coordinator.
• Some logistics assistants may work in warehouses, while others work in shipping and receiving departments.
