This position is housed in the City of Virginia Beach. The City of Virginia Beach is located on the east coast of Virginia and boasts a wonderful ocean front environment while maintaining its agriculture heritage. The City has a nice blend of suburban and rural communities and borders the urban City of Norfolk.

The 4H Youth Development Agent is a professional educator who provides leadership to the local 4H program and manages its day-to-day operation. 4H is a community of young people learning leadership, citizenship, and life skills. The mission of 4H is to develop youth, and adults working with those youth, to realize their full potential and become effective, contributing citizens.
