Job Scope

This is a new role for our organization. The Coordinator will work closely with the Deputy Executive Director on current needs for safety programs, and will also work with the Director of Human Resources.

Reporting to and receiving direction from the Deputy Executive Director, and at times the Director of Human Resources as appropriate, the Safety Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and taking action pertaining to the organization’s occupational health and safety programs, and as it relates to employees. The Coordinator will assist with the implementation and on-going administration of the organization’s health and safety program, and will promote health and safety awareness among all employees with a focus on injury prevention.
