Under the direct supervision and the authority of the Head of the UNESCO Tashkent Office, the incumbent will act as an advisor to the program "Empowering the government and citizens of Uzbekistan by strengthening access to information, accountability of institutions and media competence", in particular:
Provide essential advisory support at the impact and outcome levels by monitoring the program's progress, outcomes, and impact, offering recommendations and adjustments to optimize effectiveness and sustainability. His/her advisory role ensures that decision-making is informed, data-driven, and aligned with the program's desired impact and outcomes.Ensure that the program activities are coordinated with other activities of UNESCO implemented in Uzbekistan in the areas of mass media, freedom of expression, and media and information literacy.Give necessary strategic advice and provide expertise in UNESCO's communication and information programs in the...
