KS1 Teaching Assistant Job

Are you looking for a new challenge as a Teaching Assistant? Do you have experience working with pupils with Additional Learning Needs? If so, this may be the role for you.

We are looking for compassionate and friendly teaching assistants to work on a 1:1 basis with a pupil in a KS1 class.You will be working each day 08:30 to 15:30 in a Newport Primary school. The school itself has a fantastic reputation, with around 230 students on roll and holding awards for its Eco School contribution, as well as encouraging and nurturing a diverse pupil base.

This role is confirmed for the full academic year, beginning September 2024. Depending on experience, this role will pay £77-85 per day PAYE.

You will be:
• Creating lesson materials
• Supporting the pupil with individual literacy and numeracy learning sessions
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
