The International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) is currently accepting applications for its autumn 2024 science diplomacy internship. This internship is a highly competitive program that provides early-career opportunities in the area of science diplomacy. The internship runs for three months from September to November 2024. The internship covers the cost of travel to and from IIASA (near Vienna, Austria) and the awardee’s home country at the beginning and end of the internship, as well as a modest stipend to offset living expenses during the period of the internship.

The science diplomacy intern will gain experience in developing engagements between IIASA, international organizations, diplomatic corps, policymakers, science diplomacy network, alumni, and other stakeholders.
