UHEP supports at scale, implementation and monitoring of the government of Ethiopia’s urban health extension program and improves access to and demand for health services. More specifically, the program aims to strengthen the capacity of urban health extension workers to identify most at risk populations in their catchment areas and provide public health services to improve their overall health outcomes including HIV prevention, care and support services.
