The Opportunity

people2people are recruiting an exciting opportunity for a Governance Coordinator to work for a State Government Department. This is a temporary assignment with an immediate start for an initial 7 month assignment. Located in Wodonga 3690, offering hybrid arrangements after training.
• Duties
• Provide high level support to the Board of Directors including preparation of agenda's, reports and minutes
• Develop, implement and maintain policies and procedures regarding the corporate governance function
• Assist board members with diary and email management
• Provide guidance and support on corporate governance principles

About You
• Demonstrated knowledge of principles and practices of corporate governance
• Extensive experience in governance, including board meeting procedures
• Experience in project management is not essential but highly regarded
• Experience in coordinating field staff
