Responsibilities :
• Manage and provide direction to reporting employees consisting of Section Heads and Officers to achieve each department objective. Grow and develop the competence of the team.
• Leverage and provide enhanced solutions to the MRP system that puts forth accurate data for appropriate analysis and decision making.
• Execute and evolve the formulated plan to meet/exceed Purchasing and Planning KPIs, which involve OTD or OTS, inventory and effective spend.
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on performance, quality, and cost.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, and negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers.
• Manage inventory with involvement from the customer in the pursuit of 100% OTD and minimal inventory liability.
• Manage transportation, distribution, and logistics to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
