HI Friends Mental Wellbeing Support Worker (February 2024)

This part time role is to continue the development of mental wellbeing awareness, services and initiatives in Histon and Impington. HI Friends has been worked for a number of years locally to improve mental wellbeing through a part time specialist role.

Working with the HI Friends Mental Wellbeing Services Co-ordinator and community partners the new role of ‘Mental Wellbeing Support Worker’ will help community, schools and existing providers to maintain, develop, deliver and coordinate a range of activities across Histon and Impington that promote the emotional and mental wellbeing of all ages in the community.

The key objectives of the role are:

· Raise an awareness and openness of mental wellbeing in the community

· Provide support with early intervention, prevention and sign posting to other services and through a new one to one ‘Listening Ear’ service
