Our client in the freight and transport industry is looking for an Operations Manager (reportring to the General Manager) to join their team in Beira, Mozambique. The Ops Manager will be the team lead for overall operations. They will be accountable for operations processes, optimum deployment of resources, and to ensure excellent service delivery.

Salary and benefits: Negotiable

Responsiblities
• Ensure truck turnaboud to achieve 6000km per month and/or including budgeted revenue/trips per month
• Plan, develop, organise, direct, manage and evaluate the various routes as per business development activities
• Direct the activities of staff in relation to transportation operations including dispatching, routing, and tracking trucks
• Plan, develop, and implement transportation health and safety, and security programmes and activities
