Full-time, 35 -40 hours per week

Day shifts, 8-hour shift

We have an opportunity for a full time Cook position at our care home based in Eastington .An n award-winning 75-bed care centre specialising in residential dementia, nursing dementia and nursing care.

The main purpose of this role is to assist in the preparation and provision of meals, have the responsibility for the day to day running of the kitchen ensuring compliance with relevant Health & Safety and Food Hygiene requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities
• To prepare and cook food in accordance with food hygiene regulations
• To be involved with the preparation and serving of all meals
• Participate in general kitchen duties as required
• To ensure high standard of hygiene and cleanliness are adhered to and maintained at all times within the kitchen
• You will support the Catering Manager to operate the kitchen effectively and efficiently working within a budget
