Right now, we’re looking for a Health Care Assistant with experience behind them to become part of the surgical ward team. The 40 bed ward is a critical part of services at Timaru Hospital caring for patients recovering from surgery.

Day to day this role assists and supports Registered and Enrolled Nurses with providing care and support to patients and works under their direction and delegation, in addition to other ‘housekeeping’ tasks.
