SAMSON Materials Handling, part of AUMUND GROUP is looking for a:
• Maternity Cover Accounts Assistant (part time/fix-term)

We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our team until January 2025.

The perfect candidate will ideally have previous accounting role experience or be a trainee accountant.

Some key responsibilities include:
• Preparing supplier payment runs
• Process and match purchase invoices to Purchase Orders
• Investigate reasons for any price differences with the necessary department
• Process Purchase invoices, ensuring correctly coded
• Reconcile Supplier Statements and investigate/resolve any queries
• Ensure employee expense claims and properly prepared and processed
• Manage company credit card monthly processing, including chasing employees
• Manage credit insurance monthly declarations and ensure correct level of insurance cover
• Prepare VAT schedule for uploading to HMRC
