Job description

We are looking for a Sous Chef.
• 4 days on, 3 days off, £29 - 31 K per year
• any overtime is fully paid at your normal hourly rate.
• We also aim to provide one weekend day off per week.
• set closures to include Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and the first full week of January.
• Yearly bonus scheme
• (Free onsite car-parking. Restaurant located a short walk from Whitehead train station).

The Fuzzy Beak is a relaxed casual dining environment.

We pride ourselves on using fresh local produce, cooking modern cuisine to a very high standard.

In this role you will be working with a highly experienced, friendly, creative and hard working team.

Your daily duties will include:
• Supporting the head chef
• Running your own section within the kitchen
• Taking leadership of the kitchen in the absence of head chef/senior sous chef
• Training junior chefs
• Maintaining a high standard of hygiene & safety including food safety standards & preparation .
