About The Opportunity

Parkes Shire Council is advertising internally for the opportunity for a Relief Aerodrome Operator to undertake the role when the permanent operator is on leave or when assistance is required.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the corporate presentation of Parkes Shire Council to the Aviation industry and travellers.

The position is responsible for the Airside Reporting functions, maintenance, inspections and safety duties to a high standard at Parkes Regional Airport.

Coupled with this duty is the presentation of the terminal facility and associated grounds to enhance Parkes vision of a progressive regional centre.

The successful applicant will be required to learn Aviation legislation. Applicants must have a willingness to obtain the various certificates and qualifications required to undertake the role.
