We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality, Health and Safety Officer to join our team and contribute to our commitment to creating a safe and healthy work environment. We have just opened a $20M, 6000sqm manufacturing and national distribution facility in Horotiu, Waikato.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and Implement Safety Policies: Create, update, and implement comprehensive health and safety policies in compliance with local regulations and industry standards, and Atkore Policy.
• Risk Assessments: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards, assess risks, and recommend preventive measures.
• Training and Education: Provide ongoing health and safety training to employees, contractors, and visitors. Ensure that all personnel are aware of and adhere to safety protocols.
• Incident Investigation: Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports. Implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
