The primary purpose of the role is to provide a high level of service in the maintenance and construction of Council’s roads and drainage infrastructure in line with Council’s delivery and operational plans.

Key Accountabilities:
• Assist to repair potholes and edge wear/breaks using bitumen patching techniques/products (crack sealing, minor bitumen sealing) in varying weather conditions and ensure that bitumen is cleaned from plant and equipment.
• Use and maintain small plant and hand tools in a safe and effective manner.
• Contribute to a positive safety culture within the organisation through completion of required documentation, reporting incidents/hazards/near misses and contributing to team discussions.
