Job Description:

The UEFI Engineer will support for NPI State and Sustaining State.

Responsibilities

New Product Introduction (NPI) State
• Analyze issues related to UEFI/BIOS features for Intel SoC platforms (X86, Qualcomm), including RAS, SMBIOS, ACPI, GPIO, SMI, and ROM updates.
• Execute the checklist from UEFI to OS to verify functionality.
• Systematically report failures in the corresponding bug tracking systems.
• Troubleshoot UEFI blockers during the initialization process.
• Provide root cause analysis, troubleshooting, identification of UEFI-related issues, solutions, and memory dumps for collaboration with vendors.
• Complete relevant tasks promptly according to project requirements."

Sustaining State
• Firmware maintenance
• Support regular retail firmware and Customer OS refresh by coordinating the deployment... More Detail
