Duties
• Develops lesson plans collaboratively and independently within the framework of approved curriculum standards.
• Promotes an understanding of the characteristics and needs of advanced learners.
• Participates in the student referral process, and in assessment procedures.
• Participates in Advanced Academic Review Committee activities as appropriate.
• Works with students, staff and parents in providing appropriate differentiated higher level educational service options
• Consults with parents, teachers, students and administrators and the community on advanced academic programs and services.
• Participates in assessment and evaluation of the advanced academic programs and services.

Conditions of Employment
• Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Requirement.
• Proof of U.S. Citizenship required.
