This unique, conceptually unusual, authentic and socially responsible event is held throughout Serbia in the form of a caravan, during the months of September and October. The main goal of this entertaining competition is the search for champions in the preparation of the most famous Serbian specialty – AJVARA. The event managed to combine traditional and modern, village and city, past and present and at the same time enable each municipality to promote its own authenticity.

In Ćuprija, the “Ajvarci” gather in the month of September, when it is also the season of wintering, in the Moravian Park, which is always technically prepared in advance for the performance of this manifestation.

About fifteen teams from the territory of the municipality of Ćuprija are fighting for the most successful Ajvarac.
