The Supplier Development Engineer will maintain and improve the supplier base of the Automotive Products Group division. He/she will lead, support, and develop Suppliers and Supplier Quality functions within Europe in project and serial production phases.

Your Responsibilities will be to:
• Lead, support and develop Suppliers and Supplier Quality functions within Europe in project and serial production phases
• Develop and coordinate suppliers to increase efficiency in launching of new components and technologies
• Ensure continuous improvements by proper implementation of APQP and PPAP processes
• Conduct VDA audits of suppliers (product, process, tooling, etc.)
• Perform on-site supplier visits and lead suppliers’ activities
• Evaluate suppliers on the basis of criteria predefined by the Group
• Identify appropriate actions depending on the results of Supplier Performance Ratings
• Provide recommendations for supplier selection for new parts and technologies
