Nel Hydrogen Electrolyser are now looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Nel's technology department is now hiring. We are looking for highly motivated employees to grow the team. You will play an important role in the development activities and be a part of the team realizing the Nel R&D goals.

The position reports to the Technology Director at Nel Hydrogen Electrolyser. The job will be based on the company's premises in Porsgrunn/Herøya or Notodden.

Main tasks and responsibilities
• Develop concepts and solutions in SolidWorks
• Detailed design- and structural/hydraulic tension calculations
• Develop production blueprints
• Component and material procurement through vendors with necessary follow-ups
• Responsible for the technical design/blueprint archive

Key Qualifications
• BSc/MSc engineering
• High level of proficiency with SolidWorks
• Experienced with mechanical simulations
• Good technical and analytical skills, and experience working in a team setting
