Responsibilities

As a Nursery Manager at a small day nursery in Canvey Island, Essex, you'll play a vital role in ensuring that our children receive the highest standards of care and education. In this full time, 40 hour per week position, you'll serve as a leader for the staff team, with responsibilities that include:
• Recruitment, training, and development of staff
• Ensuring all staff understand and follow nursery policies and procedures
• Supporting EYFS planning and ensuring children are learning and being cared for in a safe, nurturing environment
• Maintaining observations, assessments, and development records
• Promoting diversity and equal opportunity
• Working in partnership with parents to form caring and trusting relationships
• Leading by example and promoting high standards of professionalism and confidentiality
