We are working with a mainstream college in the Burgess Hill area who are looking for an Education Support Worker or SEN Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with physical disabilities.
The role will be to support a Key Stage 4 Pupil with mobility issues. You'll be required to provide some personal care and utilise the use of a hoist for this role.
Your key duties as a Support Worker/SEN Teaching Assistant will be to:
· Support a KS4 Pupil throughout the day
· Follow IEPs.
· Manage any challenging behaviour.
· Assist the pupil moving around the school and to use the bathroom
. Provide tailored support and assistance to the pupil to suit their specific needs
It is essential that you have previous experience as a Support Worker or SEN Teaching Assistant supporting pupils with SEN and being able to vulnerable young people with their work who are academically challenged.
The college is in Burgess Hill in a nice residential area.
