An opportunity has become available for an Assistant Storeman at the New Germany factory in Kwa-Zulu Natal.

Purpose of the position

The purpose and goal of this position are to maintain accurate stock levels, issue accurate kits, pack, and store items correctly, and maintain good housekeeping.

Duties and Responsibilities, but not limited to
• Pack away all stock received in the designated location.
• Issue stock to Production Staff on a Stock Transfer Request or Production Order and ensure documents are processed.
• Cycle count stock daily as per schedule by Senior Storeman / Inventory Manager
• Always follow the FIFO system.
• Alerting the Senior Storeman and Inventory Manager of any discrepancies with regard to paperwork and stock.
• Housekeeping of all stock.
• Prepare for stock takes & lead grouped Temps in the counting team during stock takes.
• Sort, organize, and store inventory in the assigned location.
