POSITION SUMMARY

Amentum, a large government contract company, is seeking a Generator Mechanic (GM) for a position located in Niger, Africa, on an Installation Sustainment Services contract supporting the Air Force. The GM will be responsible for inventory management, installing, programming, calibrating, troubleshooting, testing, and repairing electrical generation and distribution of base equipment and other duties as assigned by Program leadership IAW international, US, government, and PWS requirements.

The GM schedule will vary during 24/7 rotations and will be available within 4 hours to meet on the installation with Government personnel to discuss problem areas.

QUALIFICATIONS
• A minimum of three years (3) previous experience at a US Air Force Military Installation with similar mission/project in scope and nature
• Previous work experience in an austere OCONUS environment with a multi-national workforce
