Job Responsibility
• Managing procurement workflow including receiving purchase requisition, processing orders, sourcing new suppliers, quotations, and negotiating prices.
• Responsible to source, negotiate and purchase material or services from potential suppliers (local & overseas). Negotiation skills to work with suppliers and make better deals for the company.
• Perform sourcing and conduct price comparison to ensure product competitiveness in the market; Source for materials, goods, products, and services and negotiate for the best and cost-effective contracts and deals.
• Update and track the records of all orders, payments, and received stock.
• Coordinate with the suppliers to ensure timely delivery and follow up on delays or orders that have been rescheduled.
• Research information, gather data, and prepare summaries or briefs.
• Assist in resolving day-to-day issues and challenges that may arise.
• Complete tasks and assignments assigned by superiors.
