H9 Technical Recruitment are hiring for a Buyer to provide tactical and operational support, direction, knowledge, advice and expertise on procurement activities as required by our clients operational and new build assets across the UK

Role And Responsibilities
• Working closely with other areas of the business, but specifically, the Plant Managers, Maintenance Managers, Operational Managers and their teams plus the corporate teams to ensure collaboration and consistency is achieved throughout the expanding company.
• Understanding the relevant markets and finding the best product that is both cost effective and as environmentally friendly as possible.
• Working alongside the Hedge Manager and identifying opportunities when to lock in the commodities and mitigate risk against price inflation.
• Create a consignment stock strategy across all the assets and demonstrate on an annual basis that it is adding value.
