We are currently on a search for a Senior Specialist Maintenance to be based in Ladysmith. The Senior Specialist Maintenance will be responsible for coordinating maintenance practices in alignment with production needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Supervision and conformance to all Safety requirements
• Oversee all maintenance activities and improvements in the production lines, utilities and factory related equipment and facilities.
• Improve operational efficiency by reducing breakdowns.
• Ensure effective quality by ensuring correct machine and equipment functionality.
• Liaising with suppliers and other departments.
• Ensuring spare part requirements are understood, determined and orders created accordingly.
• Ensure all work-related documentation, inspection sheets and job cards are in order and completed on time.
• Plan, control and supervise all work to prevent delays and breakdowns.
• Directly responsible for artisan supervision, delegation and management.
