Forklift / Delivery Team Member (Full-Time)

We are currently seeking a team player to join Mitre 10 Crofton Downs on a full-time basis being our main Trade Dept forklift driver unloading and loading trucks, as well as palletised stock movements and timber packs. Need to be physically fit as deliveries will be part of the duties. Other duties will include trade timber yard assistance, customer service and general duties.

The duties of the role:
• Operate forklift/combi (unload delivery vehicles and yard stock movement)
• Drive company owned delivery vehicle when required (ute, light truck, with a view to moving into the heavy truck/crane operation- class 4)
• Operate machinery within the timber yard including saws
• Assist Trade customers as and when required

Our ideal applicant:
• A background within a trade hardware / warehouse required (but not necessary as training will be provided)
• Would have practical experience operating forklifts (beneficial, not essentially required)
