Introduction

Normandien Farms (Pty) Ltd, owners of Tekwani and Thirsti, is looking for an extraordinary Accountant to join their growing and dynamic business. You will be based on-site at our central services team at Thornville, close to Pietermaritzburg (not remote) and report to the Group Financial Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Fixed asset management.
• Instalment Sale Agreement accounting and reconciliation.
• Fuel administration and record-keeping.
• Diesel rebate calculations.
• Inventory accounting for round logs and lumber.
• Stock valuation adjustments.
• General ledger reconciliations.

Experience & Qualification
• Accounting or Finance Degree.
• 3-5 years' experience within an accounting function.
• Industry experience in a farming and/or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Expertise in Evolution and/or Syspro would be advantageous.
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel 365 and Sharepoint.
