A unique opportunity has arisen with my client for a Head of Materials & Logistics on a permanent basis based in Ireland.

Role: Head of Materials & Logistics
Salary: Upon Application
Location: Shannon

Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute the Materials & Logistics strategy, plans and initiatives for both our clients sites.
• Lead, develop, coach and support the Materials & Logistics team across each site (which includes Stores) and be the escalation point for all Materials & Logistics matters, which include driving performance and continuous improvement efforts.
• Ensure appropriate succession planning is in place across the team.
• Build productive relationships with internal stakeholders and employees.
• Manage all local logistics processes such as all warehouse related activities (receiving, inspection, issuing, picking, quarantine handling, shipping, storage of goods etc.), internal/local transportation and aircraft customs clearance.
