Vacancy Group DEVELOPMENT PLANNING, ENVIRONMENT & MANAGEMENT Reporting To Deputy Head (Development Management) Location - Town / City DURBAN Location - Province KwaZulu-Natal Location - Country South Africa Job Purpose To manage the provision of a development application submission, assessment and approval service.

This post reports to DEPUTY HEAD (DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT) Key Responsibility Areas Identifies and aligns the branches key performance areas to support policy and procedural changes and / or departmental objectives.

Directs and controls outcomes associated with utilization, productivity and performance of staff within the branch.Prepares capital and operating estimates and manages expenditure against the approved budget allocations.

Serves as the Municipality's Building Control officer.Manages the establishment and implementation of an integrated development applications and approval system.
