The Eswatini Competition Commission ("ESCC") is a corporate body established under the Competition Act, No. 8 of 2007 (the Act). The mandate under the Act is to regulate and encourage competition in the economy by investigating and prosecuting anti-competitive conduct, reviewing mergers and acquisitions, and protecting and promoting consumer welfare in Eswatini. The Commission is also responsible for administering the Fair-Trading Act of 2001, which is a consumer protection statute.

The ESCC seeks to recruit a highly experienced, highly competent, motivated, and self-driven individual with excellent credentials and a strategic mind to competitively fill the position of Director Competition and Consumer Protection (DCCP).
