About the role

The New Zealand Blood and Organ Service (NZBS) Blood Bank based at Palmerston North Hospital is an exciting and fast paced environment, often responding immediately in emergency situations for patients in need. What makes this role different to other Scientist roles is at the end of the day, you know that you have been directly involved in someone's care.

As a Medical Laboratory Scientist you will be responsible for performing a range of duties related to pre transfusion, antenatal and diagnostic testing and the issue of blood and blood products and tissue for clinical purposes. You will be joining a well-established team of Scientists committed to quality service, high standards and patient well-being.
