The successful candidate will help to ensure accuracy and integrity of accounting records whilst also maximizing the Company’s profitability and safeguarding of its assets. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Maintains the efficiency of WBL operations by recording, researching, and analyzing the performance of the following areas: Safeguarding the company’s assets and expenditures Ensuring appropriate accounting treatment for all transactions Verifying all claims for payments Preparing accurate and timely financial reports (daily / weekly / monthly / quarterly / annually) Prepares monthly variance reports viz sales and profitability. Prepares auditable accounts and related audit schedules. Maintains a fixed Asset Listing (Register). Review and validate Fortnightly and monthly paid payrolls. Ensures strict conformance to the company’s statutory obligations viz., PAYE, NIS, H/S, GFL, VAT and TAX. Assists with annual audit and stock taking activities.
