As a Saw Doctor your role is critical to the Whangarei branch, ensuring optimum machine performance and high-quality finished product.
Through your duties you will guarantee reliability and availability of saws in their sawmill.
You are responsible for ensuring that all saws and knives are sharpened, repaired, and finished to a high quality.
You will also participate in performing preventative maintenance tasks to minimise saw failures and unplanned saw changes.
Along with your daily duties there is the opportunity for you to work on continuous improvement opportunities to maximise saw utilisation.
You will work alongside another qualified Saw Doctor and other mechanical and electrical trades to problem solve machine centre sawing issues.
We will consider applications from all skill levels, from fully qualified to those in partial completion of apprenticeship.
Key Requirements:
Skilled tradesman with experience in circular saws.
