Purpose Of The Job

The purpose of the Millwright will be to be responsible for the maintenance and repairs of electrical and mechanical equipment onsite with the responsibility and accountability of ensuring the continuous operation of all equipment and installations hereby ensuring the effectiveness of the department’s Maintenance System.

Responsibilities
• Inspect machines for faults and report on or repair faulty conditions.
• Complete maintenance schedules and inspections.
• Remove and install equipment where and when required.
• Overhaul machines by stripping, examining, replacing and repairing faulty parts, then reassemble and replace overhauled machines.
• Assist supervisor in maintaining equipment and machinery in a safe and operational condition according to McCain Loss Control and Maintenance Policies.
