1. Summary

The OKKPS Integrated Landscape Management Project is an initiative of various partners, including the European Union, USAID, and Rainforest Trust. This project is implemented by the Wild Chimpanzee Foundation (WCF) in partnership with the Ministries of Environment and Sustainable Development of the Republic of Guinea and the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change of Sierra Leone. The direct state implementing partners are the Guinean Office of National Parks and Wildlife Reserves (OGPRNF) in Guinea and, the National Authority for Protected Areas (NPAA) of Sierra Leone.

In 2023, the OGPRNF and the NPAA signed a memorandum of understanding to facilitate the joint management of this transboundary landscape.
